Our mission at the Autism Resource Center at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago is to link children and families with appropriate services in order to improve the development of children with autism and related disorders. Autism spectrum disorders impact many areas of functioning, for both children and their families. Research has demonstrated the positive impact of interventions in helping to improve educational performance, socialization, language skills and sensory integration issues. However, it can be difficult to navigate the system and find the right treaters. The Autism Resource Center is here to assist children and families with this process.
