Children's Multi-Arts camps are grouped by age ranges of 6-7, and 8-9. Family Camp is for children ages 4-10 with at least one parent or guardian. Campers work together on a variety of fun projects and experience the joys of making art with old and new friends. Projects may include painting, drawing, mixed-media, sculpture, printmaking, performance, digital art, and more. Each session of Children's Multi-Arts camp will have a new and exciting theme, so students can enroll in multiple sessions. View all courses and register today.

We Take Creativity and Fun Seriously
Your child will be exploring a wide range of materials including drawing, painting, mixed media, fibers, performance, wearables, and animation. Each session has a different project, so students can sign up for multiple weeks.

Meaningful Projects
Each summer, we select a theme for our Children's Multi-Arts camps and structure projects and exploration around that idea. Our youngest creators are learning and researching concepts, bringing their points of view to life through the projects they make. And, be ready, they make A LOT of work!

Collaborative Thinking and Making
SAIC recognizes that creativity and innovation flourish when children bring their ideas together. Our courses are great ways for students to learn the power of collaborative thinking and artmaking, and make new friends who share similar interests!

Not Your Average Art Class
We believe being active fuels imagination, and guarantee that students will not just be sitting at their desks all day. Campers venture into the real world often to gain inspiration and materials for their projects.

The Art Institute of Chicago
Our museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, is an integral part of students' experiences, and visits to the museum are a part of each class. Be prepared to have your child teach you about their favorite pieces in our collection!

World-Renowned Instructors
Our instructors are not only amazing mentors and teachers, but have robust artistic practices themselves. Each class has two instructors and two classroom assistants allowing for a 4 to 1 student-to-faculty ratio.
