August House Studios continues to offer REAL art classes for children between the ages of 5 and 14. With a concentration on specific art related topics (such as portraits or animals) explored through different media (drawing, painting, block printing, mixed media, scratch art, etc.), each session presents a rich opportunity for stimulating the inner artist in each child. Sketch books are provided for developing and accumulating notes and ideas on each project and technique. Each class is 1 1/2 hours long and the cost includes all materials and a small snack.
