Ready for the spotlight? Join an American Eagle weekly class and discover the joy of theatre!
Geared toward students ages 4-13, American Eagle Productions' performing arts classes provide students the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the theatre, teaching elements of acting, singing, and dance. Led by professional performers and teaching artists, our instructors engage students with drama games, improv, movement, and singing all while building confidence, fostering empathy, encouraging collaboration, and providing a safe space for children to express themselves.
Broadway Basics/Musical Theatre Weekly Classes
Students collaborate with a professional teaching artist as well as each other to develop new characters, write an original script, and design their own props and/or costumes. Each session culminates in an original performance to share with family and friends.
Broadway Techniques Series
This series is perfect for older kids who want to focus more on growing as a musical theatre performer, having better auditions, or who just love musical theatre. Led by working actors, directors, singers, and choreographers, students hone their skills in acting and monologue work, vocal training, and dance for musical theatre. They will fine tune their techniques, get feedback from professional artists, and learn how to take command of the stage during auditions or performances. This intensive is designed to build your camper's self-confidence, expand their abilities, and enable them to feel more comfortable in front of audiences.
American Eagle Productions has also completed the Be Safe Chicago certification and will adhere to all city and CDC health guidelines to ensure your child remains safe and healthy during this time.
