Some are live online, during which students work collaboratively in real-time. Others are 'asynchronous' to fit the needs of students who want to set their own schedules. CTD Program Offerings

Weekend Programs (Age 3 - Grade 8)
CTD offers weekend options for students seeking enrichment and hand-on activity beyond the regular academic week. For students who prefer live online instruction with peers, CTD is proud to offer two live weekend programs: CTD Weekends at Home and CTD Encounters at Home. Weekend at Home offers students the opportunity to participate in 6 weeks of programming on either Saturdays or Sundays, while Encounters at Home features single, half-day sessions for students to learn about a particular topic of interest.

Summer Programs (Age 3 - Grade 12)
CTD's summer programming seeks to offer students a pathway to develop their talents outside of the regular academic year. The summer programs that CTD offers are designed to foster both academic development and social-emotional growth. CTD summer programs include the Solstice program for students in grades 4 through 6, the Spectrum program for students in grades 6 through 8, and the Equinox program for students in grades 9 through 12, the last two of which offer honors and Advanced Placement®-level courses respectively.

Online Programs (K-12)
CTD's online programs serve students at all grade levels through a variety of engaging formats. Some are live, during which students work collaboratively in real-time. Others are 'asynchronous' to fit the needs of students who want to set their own schedules. From family courses to enrichment and standards-aligned, credit-bearing courses, CTD's expert instructors differentiate instruction, encourage discussion, and create a vibrant community of students from around the world all from the comfort of home.

Service-Learning and Leadership Programs (Grades 7-12)
Our innovative school-year programs and summer courses, which are offered through CTD's Civic Education Project (CEP), give promising young leaders opportunities to learn and serve in their communities. These service-learning opportunities inspire young people to become active, engaged citizens. Students are challenged to address real-world issues and learn in new ways while building their intellectual capacity, leadership skills, and potential to make change.
