Kids spend the first half of their day exploring music and after lunch it's into the pool at this full-day camp in Edgewater!
MUSIC! The music part of their day is designed to let kids ages 4-8 explore the world of sound in an enriching, fun environment that offers hands-on experiences with instruments and introduces them to sounds from around the world. Campers learn through all of the senses by discovering more about music through dance, books, games, art, performances by professional musicians and more! There's a different theme each week where campers explore the instruments of the orchestra, sounds from around the world, and music from our own country.
SWIM! Campers spend about two hours in the pool during the day. The first hour will be small group instruction with the kids divided based on their skill level. The second half is instructor led free time where kids play games and explore the water applying their skills in a non-directed format. Even if your child isn't an independent swimmer, by the end of camp they should be self-sufficient and relaxed in the pool. And for those who are more experienced, their progress will be even more noticeable.
