The Elgin Public Museum of Natural History and Anthropology is located in beautiful Lords park on the East side of Elgin. THe museum offers classes for school, scout and other groups as well as individual and family classes throughout the year. All summer long we have summer camps for all ages. The museum and the park are steeped in local history. The building itself is almost 100 years old. There is much to do in the park including playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, a farm zoo and a family aqautic center open in the summer. In the winter, visit the bison, elk and deer or go sledding on one of the fun sledding hills!
