The Chicago History Museum is the city's oldest and newest cultural institution. Formerly the Chicago Historical Society, the museum reopened in 2006 with a new name and all-new exhibitions. Highlights include the Sensing Chicago Children's Gallery where kids use their five senses to explore Chicago, uncover its past, and discover that history is all around them.
