Kids Classes at Lillstreet Art Center
Lillstreet offers classes in ceramics, metalsmithing, jewelry, drawing, painting, sewing, and more for children and young adults ages 3-16. Students focus on expressing themselves artistically while building social, critical thinking, and technical skills. Our teachers provide a guided learning experience designed to maximize your child's personal creativity in a relaxed and non-competitive environment. Fall classes will begin the weeks of September 13 and October 18. Highlights include Wheelthrowing, Scientific Illustration, and Street Photography. Families can learn and create together in any of Lillstreet's Family Workshops for ages 5 and up. Bambini & Me (Parent and Tot Playdate)
Bennett Day School's Bambini & Me playdates provide an opportunity for children ages 18-36 months and their parents/caregivers to play, learn, and grow together in a school setting. Children will have the chance to openly explore with natural materials and develop social-emotional skills in a safe environment. A typical playdate will include explorations of music, nature, literature, and arts through sensory and open play. A snack will also be offered, giving participants a chance to gather around a communal table. Participants will get to meet other families in the community and learn more about Bennett Day School's early childhood program.
