Turkey Squares

Wondering what to do with all that leftover turkey? These Turkey Squares are a tasty treat that kids will love.

  • 4-ounces cream cheese, softened*
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives or onions
  • 2½-3 cups cooked, cubed turkey*
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 8 oz. cans Pillsbury Crescent
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Dinner Rolls: 4 sandwiches from each can.
  • Optional: ¾ cup seasoned croutons, crushed
In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter (reserve 1 T.) until smooth. Add rest of ingredients. Separate crescent rolls into rectangles, pressing perforations to seal. Spoon ½ cup meat mixture onto center of rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center of meat and pinch edges to seal. Brush tops with reserved 1 tablespoon margarine. Dip into crouton crumbs. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.
