Broccoli Casserole

4 - 10 ounce frozen packages chopped broccoli
1 - 8 ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup chopped pecans
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 egg
¾ cup butter, melted
Bread crumbs

Directions: Large recipe for a crowd. You can cut the ingredients in half and use a 9 x 9" pan for smaller groups. Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain very well. Stir in chestnuts, pecans, and onion soup mix. Beat egg and add to broccoli mixture. Spoon into 13 x 9" pan. Top with bread crumbs. Pour melted butter over crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Mix every 10 minutes while baking.
