Chicago Children’s Theatre’s technicolor take on Margaret Wise Brown’s beloved bedtime tale promises to be an “eyes wide open” show for audiences of all ages. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the show! I took my 4 and 7 year olds and they laughed so hard everyone could hear them :) Captivating, entertaining and well performed. I wondered how long the musical would be since its such a short story, but their incorporations made it phenominal! The stage was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL with its vivid colors and mobile moon; it looked exactly like the story book!!! My 4yr old just asked this morning if we could go see it again or if I could take her to see another storybook musical!! I love her love for reading and storytime but also for the theatrical arts!
